The Cyborg Journals Part Two

 Jared sat gazing out the open window. The silence that had entered the room moments before continued. No one had and answer for Julie’s question. No one wanted to consider it. It was inevitable but unthinkable. Tom looked up from from his hands which he had staring at blankly just in time to see Jared go rigid as though he had just had a revelation, or had an answer – or had seen something terrible out the window and that’s when the cyborg came in and killed them all.
