Writing
I play World of Warcraft. I put in about an hour a night. I don't do any group things, just solo stuff. The reason I mention this is because they have a short story contest - God bless 'em - and I just submitted a 7500 word tale of Dwarves, Orcs and the ever popular Scourge. I know enough about the game and the world it presents that I believe I did not make any glaring mistakes in my own representation. I had fun writing it. Maybe I'll be able to post it here when the winners are chosen and the rights revert back to me ( assuming I don't win ). Maybe I'll write another. Anyway, I went to Google and searched for writing contests and, after sifting through all the hits, found a few interesting prospects. So I'm off and running, I think. I sort of like the idea of a deadline. Which reminds me, there's one coming up on Tuesday. Gulf Coast is the name of the publication. It's a literary journal, published twice a year I think. They're asking for short fiction( 500 words or less) or poetry. Later
